Summary:
This course covers the basic components and operational aspects of the CICS (Customer Information Control System/Transaction Server) product. The primary emphasis is on the daily operation of the CICS complex. The workshop time can be tailored by the instructor to emphasize aspects of CICS/TS that are important for a particular environment. Students will leave with a good basic knowledge of the CICS components and some experience running common commands for maintaining the operability of the CICS/TS system.
