Email this Page    Print-Friendly Version

Summary:
The EX336 JBoss(r) Certified Application Administrator (JBCAA(tm)) exam is the only performance-based certification in its category, continuing the Red Hat tradition of benchmarking the skills of IT professionals through hands-on skills assessments. Individuals earning the JBCAA credential will have the demonstrated skills and knowledge to install, configure, monitor, manage, and deploy applications to JBoss Enterprise Application Platform. A JBCAA credential helps ensure enterprise open source solutions are optimized to meet specific needs, and establishes credibility for companies needing to provide a high level of service to their customers.

Duration:
1/2 Day/Exam

Audience:
This exam is appropriate for JBoss Application Server system administrators, deployment managers, and quality assurance engineers who would like to earn a credential that shows they have the skills and knowledge needed to install, configure, monitor, manage, and deploy applications to JBoss Enterprise Application Platform.

Topics:

  • The certification exam consists of one part conducted in a single half-day session.
  • The JBCAA exam consists of one section lasting up to four (4) hours.
  • The exam is performance-based, meaning that candidates must perform tasks on a live system, rather than answering questions about how one might perform those tasks.
  • Exam results are emailed within (5) business days following the exam.

Prerequisites:
The hands-on nature of this exam make real-world experiences a critical facet of preparation. In addition to experience, Red Hat recommends that participants attend the JB336 JBoss Application Administrator course to supplement their hands-on experience. JB336 balances concept-based lectures with real-world tasks and project-oriented labs.
